The Trans-e-motion library contains the artwork and other pieces that are
used in the education of others about the discrimination, bigotry, and violence
used against the Transgender/Transsexual and Gender Diverse.
Every year The International Transgender Day Of Remembrance is observed on
November the 20th. A great many of the
pieces are exhibited, along with entertainment, and refreshments in an
observance to celebrate and remember the lives of those that met the discrimination,
bigotry, and violence face to face; many losing their lives.
All persons are welcome to develop their own art and contribute/donate it
to Trans-e-motion. The Trans-e-motion
Board of Directors welcome any and all requests to finish or add-to any of the
pieces already in the Library.
All pieces contributed/donated are considered to be in the legal possession
and legal ownership of Trans-e-motion (a California, U.S.A. Public Benefit
Corporation). All Copywrite(s),
Registration(s), and Trademark(s) are owned, possessed, and reserved by
Trans-e-motion. All pieces will be
catalogued and listed in the Library Inventory.
Use of the Library pieces can be accessed by anyone at anytime with an
application made to the Trans-e-motion Board of Directors. Send a request to e-mail address: info@Trans-e-motion.org, or by postal mail
to: Trans-e-motion,
It is currently the policy of Trans-e-motion to use ONLY
those pieces that are presently in our Library for any events or gatherings by
Trans-e-motion.
We are NOT currently accepting consignments nor sales items
(due to our application for U.S. I.R.S. 501 (c) (3) status).
All Trans-e-motion Library pieces are NOT for sale. The pieces can be borrowed, rented, or
leased. The pieces can be used in
schools, business, galleries, or anywhere there are public access areas. Each piece can be checked out of the Library
by application and deposit (if needed).
The details of the lease, rent, or loan is to be made on an individual
case-by-case basis as decided on by the Trans-e-motion Board of Directors or
their assigned agent(s). It is
recommended that application be made at least two (2) weeks prior to delivery
to site of display. Trans-e-motion can
be solicited to provide transport, if desired.
The person(s) making application is/are responsible and liable for the
safe, secure, and protected return of any Library piece used.
NOTE: Our event on November 20th and
certain other events have superior priority over the use of all of the Library
pieces. Anyone or any entity may be
asked to supply access and the Library piece(s) to be used by Trans-e-motion by
two (2) week prior notice. Transport,
responsibility, and liability will be negotiated at time of request.
